It’s not hard to see why Lynn Austin has been given three Christy Awards for her writing. I have read most of her
books and never been disappointed. She continues her amazing work in All She Ever Wanted. This book is by no means
lighthearted as it takes you on a journey into the devastating family history of Kathleen Seymour. The whirlwind of events
starts when Kathleen loses her job, finds out her daughter has been stealing, and receives an invitation for a celebration
in her Father’s honor- a man whom she hasn’t talked to in 35 years. As she makes her way back home and struggles
to save her relationship with her daughter, she uncovers more family secrets than she thought possible. This book kept pulling
me in deeper and deeper as it looked into the heartbreaks of these 3 amazing women and their families who’s only hope
was God’s saving grace and unconditional love.

Olivia's Touch
by Peggy Stoks
Submitted by Faith Stewart on July 26, 2006
Olivia lives in a small town, the kind where everyone knows everyone else. She has spent her life following in her grandmother's
footsteps as a healer, and is well known and much appreciated. Then a stranger comes to town- a bona fide doctor who decides
that he wants nothing to do with Olivia. But when Doctor Gray hurts his hand and must accept Olivia's help,
the sheriff decides that they are going to work together until the Doc is healed. Circumstances are turned upside-down
when the local dressmaker is found dead and Doctor Gray insists on an autopsy, revealing that she was murdered, and making
the townsfolk question just how well they know each other. This satisfying story focuses on searching for God,
learning to trust Him against all odds, and even finding love in the face of adversity.

Treason
by Don Brown
Submitted by Antonio Ceravalo on May 16, 2007
Lieutenant
Zack Brewer is one of the Navy’s finest JAG officers. He is also a Christian.
Diane Colcernian is also one of the Navy’s finest JAG officers, and she happens to be Zack’s fiercest opponent
in the courtroom. In this exciting courtroom drama we get to follow the burgeoning careers of these two young lawyers. There’s plenty of action to go around too, not just in the courtroom. A group of well-funded Muslim terrorists are trying to infiltrate the military to destroy it from the inside
out. The fate of our nation, and indeed the world, is hanging in the balance, and it’s up to Zack and Diane to
get the victory. I like the way Don
Brown develops the characters in this book; we get to delve into each one and see what makes them who they are. I also like the way he develops the “bad guys” - they truly are bad! Those of you who like courtroom scenes will not be disappointed, plus you will get an insight into the
workings of the Navy’s JAG. Don Brown, being a former JAG officer, lends
credence to the courtroom scenes. One other thing I like about this book is the way the author paints the setting, you
feel like you’re really there. If you enjoy courtroom dramas with some action and romance thrown in, then you’ll
love Treason by Don Brown!

Hostage

Submitted by Antonio Ceravalo July, 2007
In
this second book of “The Navy Justice Series” Don Brown delves even deeper into the frightening world of terrorism. Picking up where the last book “Treason” left off, this story is full
of fast paced action, suspense, courtroom scenes, and absolutely heart-rending drama!
We read about how Zack Brewer and Diane Colcernian continue to get close to each other, then suddenly something happens
in the Middle-East! An attack, and there are ramifications, Zack is called back into action once again. Meanwhile, Diane is kidnapped and an ultimatum is issued. Zack
has to choose between the woman he loves and millions of innocent lives… Or
could there be another way out of this situation? We are introduced in this book
to Wendy Poole, a JAG lawyer who is both gutsy and clever. She is assigned to
help Zack prosecute the case. Once again, I believe that Don did an excellent job of weaving the action with the romance and
describing the characters and the scenes. He is capable of obtaining all sorts
of emotional responses from his readers, from fear to anger to laughter. This
book is a real rollercoaster ride! You’ll have to read it to find out just exactly how Zack and Diane extricate themselves
from this one!
