Every Storm
I was amazed to begin reading Every Storm only to find that Lori Wick did something she'd never done
before. I was shocked, but I read every single page of this book and found that I truly enjoyed it. True, Every Storm is
by no means typical Lori Wick, but it has heart. It was thought-provoking as well. I found myself really feeling for Lorri,
trying to understand and fathom what she had gone through on that island. Despite the awful circumstances she had found herself
in she strived ahead with God's help. The romance that bloomed between her and Rigg also added an element of awe to the story.
And I so enjoyed getting to know Lorri's mom and grandfather. How could Lorri have had any hardships with them there to support
her recovery. Lorri's sister, Max, also made Every Storm very enjoyable. She may have "sworn off boys," but apparently,
they did not swear her off. What a precious romance that sprouted between Max and Johnny! God always has a plan for us. It
may not be our plan, but it's the best plan. Thank you, Lori, for a great read!

A Texas Sky
Darvi just wanted to see her friend, Mary, so she could share her news. How was she to know that Mary
had moved? Why did things always seem to happen to her or around her anyway? Darvi hadn't realized it until Dakota pointed
it out, but her uncle knew all along. Dakota has been injured and needs to recover before going back to Ranger duties, but
he seems to think he's rested enough. So his boss asks him for a favor, and the adventure begins. God has hid hand in everything,
even when Darvi is taken. Captives witnessed in the Bible, and Darvi does to as she flows from Lori Wick's heart onto the
page for her readers. Lori Wick has blessed readers with a wonderful (although somewhat stressful) second book in her Yellow
Rose Trilogy. She has given her readers a thought-provoking read with unexpected events. Join Darvi and Dakota on their journey

City Girl
Reagan Sullivan wanted to go on a new adventure. New York City was good, but it wasn't quite what she
wanted anymore. Being a nanny would be fun and challenging and different, and Texas sounded good too. She made her way there
with plans, but when she arrived things had changed. That was okay; she just needed a new plan. Cash Rawlings had his ranch
and many matchmakers on his hands, but Cash was content and happy. He wanted to get married sure, but he knew God had the
right woman and the right timing. Cash also knew that he did not, so he'd leave it in God's very capable hands. These two
are thrown together in circumstances somewhat beyond their control, and something seems to happen. Hmmm... God is amazing,
isn't he? If you've enjoyed Every Little Thing About You and A Texas Sky, then you are sure to enjoy the last
book in Lori Wick's wonderful Yellow Rose Trilogy. You probably don't want to read this book while riding a bicycle; why not
find some shade under a tree instead!
